Robert Clive Jones (born 1947) is Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
Jones was born in Las Vegas. He attended Brigham Young University where he triple majored in English, accounting and economics. He then became a CPA. Jones attended UCLA Law School where he was an editor of the Law Review while a student.
From 1983-1999 Jones served as a bankruptcy judge. His wife is Michele Bunker, part of the Southern Nevada Bunker clan.
Jones is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in several positions in the church including Bishop.
Jones was confirmed as a Federal Judge for the District of Nevada by the Senate in December 2003.
